This is just cool:

Thomas Nicoski of St. Charles, IL, 63, graduated Saturday with a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Judson University in Elgin. He received the Ames leadership award. He's the chief of GIS technology for Kane County and got his bachelor’s degree at the same school in 2004. Rock on!

An enormous multicoloured map appeared on Human Rights Day, December 10 in Madrid’s Plaza de Las Ventas. It included  61 red chairs carried by 61 children highlighting the 61 million children with no right to education. The "The Red Chair" campaign tapped Monkeyb Graffiti to paint the map and encouraged local children to participate. The map was washed offer after the performance.

"Map reading made interesting" is the challenging headline about a mapping competition for students in Hyderabad, India.

More than 1200 students had fun at GeoMap Quiz where they were given satellite image of the venue NTR Gardens and asked to locate the placed indicated on the map

About 300 teams from 45 schools in the city participated in the final round of 22 GeoMap Quiz organised by GeoMap Society at NTR Gardens on Saturday. Students trooped out on the chilly morning to explore the garden and learn the craft map reading as well.

I hope it was interesting!
