On Friday LightSquared proposed to the FCC that it use the spectrum currently shared by instruments such as weather balloons instead of the bands it currently owns. The company would not use the spectrum it owns which the FCC found interferes with GPS. The idea it to get the company back in the game even as it's in bankruptcy.
