Update: The Economist Honors Dangermond and Hanke for Contributions to Geospatial

The Economist, which apparently turned on the article below early, made the awards announcement on Nov 16. Also honored: Garmin.

Jack Dangermond, founder of Esri and John Hanke, co-founder of Keyhole (whose technology became Google Earth) are among the winners in The Economist's 2012 Innovation Awards. They are winners in the Computing and Telecommunications industry. The ceremony is on November 15.
