Westford, Massachusetts has a new 50 page booklet detailing its conservation land trails.

Most exciting are the new, detailed trail maps created by resident Rich Strazdas. Using Mass GIS, a mapping technology similar to Google Earth, the highly detailed maps feature for the first time topographic contour lines indicating uphill and downhill areas, “great for hikers,” he said.

MassGIS is the Commonwealth's office of GIS.
