Tool Creates Color-coded Map from Excel Spreadsheet

Thursday, July 12th 2012

Want to make a pretty map from your Excel data but don’t want to deal with Google or Esri? Deal with Target Map instead. You have three choices of how your map is shared, not shared (but with data restrictions) or kept private (for a fee). You can use Target Maps own data or Google Maps as a backdrop. The maps created are interactive and Flash-based and are embeddable and shareable.

Most maps in the gallery are simple worldwide thematic maps, but enhancements such as pie charts and territory management support more complex visualizations.
