GeoEye Auctions Off Branded Goods as DigitalGlobe Merger Moves Forward

Caitlin at GIS Lounge broke the story of an online auction of goods with the GeoEye brand. The silent online auction of 31 items runs until January 23 at 6 pm EST. Per the website:

Get your piece of GeoEye’s heritage by bidding on the premium branded gear in this silent auction. 100% proceeds will be donated to charity. The GeoEye branded items are soon to be collectors items. Show your generosity and appreciation for our legacy at the same time!

The charity is not specified. Among the goods available: stereo glasses, satellite imagery prints, models, posters, signs, swag bags, countdown clock, and individual letters from the sign on the buidling.
