One Year Image Analysis Certificate and other Education GIS News

Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls [MN] now offers a one-year Imagery Analysis certificate, the first of its kind in the nation, and a two-year associate’s degree in Geospatial Intelligence Analysis.

[Dec 18] The University of Kentucky has announced the formation of an Unmanned Systems Research Consortium (USRC) to advance unmanned aerial, ground and underwater systems, and to explore commercial applications for the technology in Kentucky.

[Kenneth] Foote came to UConn this semester from the University of Colorado at Boulder, as head of the Department of Geography in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
