Spencer Collier, Director of the Alabama Department of Homeland Security, is the chief information office for the state. He delivered a keynote presentation at the 2011 Rocket City Geospatial and Alabama GIS Conference on November 15, 2011 at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration in Huntsville, Alabama. He then convened a public meeting of the Alabama Executive GIS Council.
