ADCi's 1:24,000 scale digital contours are scanned from exisitng U.S. Geological Survey mylar separates. Each contour line has an elevation (Z) value attribute represented in feet. Tic marks are included to represent corner points of original map. There are no crossing or merging contours except at the map boundary.
U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000 scale maps provide the digital source for this ADCi intermediate-scale map. Contours are edge-matched across 7.5 minute quadrangle boundaries within 30 x 60 minutes regions. The contour map will overlay ADCi's Cornerstone DLG to provide good registration with water and roads.
