RealityMap™ is AGS’ advanced 3D terrain and urban visualisation package. Primarily developed as a geospatial solution for the defence market, the software is now available as a standalone product for use within the commercial and consumer markets.

RealityMap™ has a comprehensive set of analysis tools including attribute and spatial query, overlays, advanced line of sight calculations and site planning tools. The package provides the ability to merge, analyse and share fused multi-sourced data in a real-time three dimensional environment with high performance on a standard computer.

Powerful 3D Terrain and Urban Visualisation

RealityMap™ can visualise unlimited spatial extents, incorporating gigabytes of imagery, mapping, elevation, vector and 3D building model data. The software can import all major formats of raw imagery and terrain data straight from data collection in all major coordinate systems and projections. This allows the user to visualise the earth and interact with vast and multiple geospatial databases through the clear and logical user interfaces.

Market Leading Performance

RealityMap™ has market leading performance with unrivalled frame rates and permissible spatial extents. The software can be run on standard computers with no need for advanced hardware. This performance has been developed to ensure the software is available to all users whether installed on a standalone PC or across a network. RealityMap™ uses its own proprietary format for handling complex surfaces. This allows a visualisation of the earth that is much smoother and realistic than our competitors.

Main Markets

Defence and Homeland Security

RealityMap™ is suitable for battlespace visualisation, geospatial intelligence and UAV deployment, situational awareness, strategic and tactical mission planning and rehearsal, training and simulation, logistics planning and support.

Due to the nature of AGS’ products to model truly global 3D, RealityMap™ can be combined with RealityChart™ and seamlessly used for the Joint environment encompassing Air, Land and Maritime (both surface and sub-surface) operations.

RealityMap™ is used widely by major defence contractors (e.g. Lockheed Martin) and armed forces due to the ability to seamlessly visualise vast amounts of 3D data.

Commercial

RealityMap™ is suitable for environmental modelling, civil engineering, town planning, telecoms planning, and oil, gas and mineral exploration. For educational use, RealityMap™ is available as an Earth Sciences teaching aid.

Consumer

RealityMap™ can be purchased in a variety of formats for home users. This allows them to visualise their surroundings or holiday destinations and plan routes and trips for excursions.
