Overview
CITYgreen calculates the environmental and economic value of greenspace
to communities, providing measurements of trees' contributions to
stormwater runoff reduction, energy conservation, air pollution
mitigation, and urban wildlife habitat. CITYgreen is used by urban
conservation professionals, city planners, arborists, and educators. A
standard ArcView for Windows application, CITYgreen is easy to learn and
implement, and most effectively communicates the real value of urban
natural resources. The developer of CITYgreen, American Forests is our
nation's oldest non-profit citizens conservation organization,
protecting trees and forests since 1875.
