Applied Geographics, Inc.Applied Geographics, Inc. (AGI) has been providing high quality GIS and systems integration services to a variety of government and private clients since 1991. AGI's work focuses on needs assessment, implementation planning and system design, data conversion and development, and custom applications. AGI has been contracted by MassGIS and NOAA to design and implement a prototype GeoDatabase for the Boston Preparedness Pilot Project to support Emergency Management and Critical Infrastructure Protection GIS applications. It which was initiated in response to the 120/133 Urban Areas Project to engage and support state and local agencies to gather and maintain important geospatial data in support of homeland defense and emergency preparedness. The GeoDatabase schema is being developed to explicitly provide these links, which are considered crucial by local fire, police, EMS, and other first responder professionals making up the Boston pilot team as well as in related HS applications such as force protection.
