For users of MapInfo, the company offers the Location Intelligence Component for Business Objects. MapInfo's MapXtreme® mapping technology has been integrated with BusinessObjects™ InfoView. According the MapInfo, "the Location Component is a 100% Java solution that is installed on the server along side the technology from Business Objects. The zero-footprint, MapInfo client is a browser-based component that links the map visualization and querying solution with the business intelligence solution."
For users of ESRI software, Crystal Reports 9 is include with ArcGIS Desktop products: ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo. ESRI and Business Objects have had successful integration efforts at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the city of Greensboro, North Carolina.
