Overview
CARIS Spatial Fusion Enterprise (SFE) software to web-en-ables geospatial data. Irrespective of where the data is housed, within and/or external to an organization, it can be in-tegrated without transfer, translation or conversion into CARIS SFE for display, analysis and reporting in a geospatial context.
New users to geospatial systems can realize the benefits of dispersed spatial and non-spatial data through our Executive, Technical and Public Access modules. Resource requirements of IT groups are minimized; 10’s – 1000’s of users can access CARIS SFE from one centrally located, scalable server. System integrity is ensured through our role-based security matrix (Configuration Manager).
CARIS SFE builds on the CARIS commitment to interoperability by meeting WMS/SLD and WFS specifications, and provides for new usage opportunities by integrating and supporting multiple
data formats - including those of competitive offerings.
CARIS SFE consolidates geomatics and decision support functionality in: thematic mapping;area and distance calculations; buffer analysis; multiple selection mechanisms; standard map navigation controls; classification (pre-built or dynamic);querying (pre-built or dynamic using SQL syntax); hyperlinks (multimedia); exporting attribute data (CSV) and map views (JPEG, TIFF, PNG or BMP); customizable reporting & high-resolution printing.
