VMPoint is a vehicle-identification and positioning system software package that communicates with the devices installed in fleet vehicles and obtains information regarding the vehicle's geographical position and other data collected from the device's sensors. Those data can be presented on Microsoft MapPoint®, allowing the user to monitor fleet on map and use MapPoint’s GIS-related benefits. VMPoint is compatible with the VGP-series devices (designed and manufactured by Compucon), supporting complete remote parameterization of the device and function updates.
