Data viewing made simple Map Viewer offers ideal, low-cost software for accessing GIS from every PC in your organisation. View over 160 data sources, create thematic maps, simple geometry and produce cartographic output with ease. Map Viewer comes with more than 50 different plug-ins providing support for all of the popular GIS and CAD data sources. Numerous additional plug-ins are made available by Cadcorp as they are released. These can be easily slotted into Map Viewer. Just download plugins and maximize your GIS capability.

Navigate with ease Being a Windows based application, navigation commands such as pan, zoom-in etc are easily found and used via pull-down menus and toolbars. Map Viewer also features special Cadcorp SIS tools: MapTips, the Roamer and Continuous Panning. MapTips are a dynamic view of data attributes as you pass over them with your mouse cursor. The Roamer is a powerful magnifying glass viewer, and Continuous Panning achieves a swift, smooth rolling pan across your basemaps without displaying intermediate white space or forcing the software to withdraw.

Thematic mapping As well as viewing and navigating, you can display map information to present patterns in your data. Using thematic mapping you can produce maps that include: Bar Charts, Pie Charts, Dot Densities, Graduated Symbols, Labelling, Individual values and range values.

Wizard driven output Map Viewer includes a step-by step print Wizard to simplify the plot production task. The easy to use process covers the selection of paper size, display scale and the area to output. Map Viewer also supports linking and embedding to other Microsoft Windows documents.

An excellent introduction to the powerful Cadcorp SIS product suite, this product shares the same look and feel as Map Manager, Map Editor and Map Modeller. Map Viewer offers the flexibility to view all data available to Cadcorp SIS in an easy to use Windows environment.
