Utilizing the .NET development environment or other HTTP and SOAP based languages (like Java) it can be deployed in a multiple server, multiple platform and operating system setting.
This is not a static 'map-publishing' tool for serving pre-authored images. GeognoSIS.NET is a dynamic solution capable of using all of the functionality of the Cadcorp SIS engine for real time map interaction, essential when accessing ever-changing GIS data. GeognoSIS gives you:
* Access to the power of Cadcorp SIS: from simple spatial queries to complex GIS analysis and to certified OGC compliant interfaces as standard
* A development licence that has all you need to get up and running plus scaleable deployment licensing
* Direct reading of GIS, CAD and database data sources so that no data translation is necessary, saving you time and money

If required, GeognoSIS.NET based applications can be delivered as an ultra-thin client, immediately accessible in any HTML browser, without downloading special browser "plug-ins" to run an application.
