Overview

Base TransCAD® Version 4.0 is designed specifically for use by transportation professionals to store, display, manage, and analyze transportation data. It does not include all of the procedures for transportation planning and routing, nor the planning utilities which permit importing CTPP, PUMS, TranPlan, MINUTP, emme/2, TRIPS, and TP+ files, that are in Standard TransCAD. TransCAD combines GIS and transportation modeling capabilities in a single integrated platform, providing capabilities that are unmatched by any other package. TransCAD can be used for all modes of transportation, at any scale or level of detail. TransCAD supports data visualization, offers custom map design, map display and output, and provides access to all software functions through an easy-to-use interface.
