Who We Are
CarteSoft, LLC, a subsidiary of Data Transfer Solutions (DTS), was founded in May, 2006 in response to pent up market demand for commercially available Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software applications.
Although DTS has enjoyed tremendous success developing GIS applications for both public and private organizations. It became clear early on that these applications had appeal beyond the organizations for whom they were developed.
Additionally, co-founder Randy Goss merged his company, Spacial Data Corporation (SDC) with CareteSoft. Much like DTS, SDC had developed many GIS applications for individual organizations.
CarteSoft was launched with a mandate to 'shrink wrap' many of the applications developed by DTS and SDC. It is CarteSoft's goal to develop applications based solely on customer needs and to address real world issues.

What We Do
We are an application development and engineering company that focuses on Geographical Information Systems (GIS). We develop both ‘shrink wrapped’ and custom GIS applications for the transportation and environmental markets. We currently offer two full featured software applications that may either be deployed ‘as is’ or customized to meet your specific needs. They are:

What Makes Us Different?
Most engineering firms address GIS projects in isolation. They develop software applications based specifically on a clients current requirements. Such applications are not only expensive, they are unproven and often are very expensive to change or update. CarteSoft’s approach differs in that we leverage our existing applications and utilize DTS’s extensive software library to develop the best solutions for your organization. Since we often ‘re-use’ parts of our software, we engineer everything to be as flexible as possible. Should you decide to change or add features to our applications, it can be done quickly and easily. Our approach not only provides proven and tested solutions, but offers superior solutions at much lower costs.
