Fully loaded with a massive memory capacity and superior performance capabilities, the Thunder n6550EX (S4989) is the premier 4-way server platform. That is 16 processor cores supporting up to 128GB of 667/533/400 DDR2 memory for unsurpassed computational capability. The Thunder motherboard features nVIDIA nForce Professional 3600 + 3050 chipset and integrated XGI Volari Z9s PCI Graphics. The Thunder n6550EX (S4989) supports EDA, HPC, life and science, CAD, CAM, CAE and CFD simulation applications.
