The BT77 GPS Receiver is the most popular GPS Receiver available to buy. It has a battery life of up to 30 hours. The 16 Channels it has is more than enough to obtain a strong satellite lock – Tomtom software tracks up to 8 satellite channels at one time. From first switch on in the morning the BT77 can obtain a full satellite lock in as little as 3 minutes or less, letting you get on with your journey. In the box The box contains – 1 BT77 (Bluetooth 77) 1 Car Charger 1 UK Mains Charger 1 Anti-Slip Mat FREE Speed Camera Database (available by email on request) Technical Information It's about the same size as a medium size matchbox - The device itself measures 81mm by 44mm by 20 mm, has an external aerial port on the left side and comes with Mains/Car/USB chargers. The battery is a Nokia type 3.7v 930mah, This size of battery is used in the Nokia 6600/6230 but the Nokia battery (BL-5C) is 850mah. Spare Batteries are also available from us. The unit is very well made and has a rubber anti-slip surface on the base, two status led’s and a power button. Setting up was easy, I charged it overnight. Switched it on and paired it with my Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC. I then placed the unit on the window sill to obtain a first fix, after about 90 seconds the red led began to flash to indicate a fix.
