The first day of the conference, Tuesday, September 18, 2001, comprises workshops and will be highlighted by a luncheon address by Colorado Chief Information Officer Dr. Robert Feingold. Wednesday's program begins with a keynote address by USGS Geographic Information Officer Karen Siderelis, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the exhibition. Concurrent technical sessions (five each day) and the exhibition (more than 60 exhibitors) will continue through Thursday.
