GISbiz, Inc. (GISbiz) is a professional services firm providing Internet and Intranet GIS specific solutions. Formed in 1999, GISbiz assists her clients with designing and developing enterprise GIS solutions using state-of-the-art software development technologies. Our mission is to deliver to our clients, GIS software solutions and consulting services, and solutions for the Internet and Intranet, of the highest quality and in a timely manner, like no other, using the latest technology which addresses the clients’ enterprise GIS computing needs and goals, providing visible and tangible benefits to the clients’ business plan, and maintain high business values and ethics. We have over a decade of experience in the area of GIS. Members of our staff have held prior positions with leading firms in the GIS industry such as Intergraph Corporation and have worked in the areas of Automated Mapping and Facilities Management (AM/FM). They have also attended and actively participated in providing support for the Geospatial Information Technology Association (GITA). The GISbiz team is experienced with revolutionary products and technologies in the GIS industry. We have experience in Intergraph’s Modular GIS Environment (MGE), Facilities Rule-based Application Model Management Environment (FRAMME), GeoMedia, GeoMedia Professional and GeoMedia Web Map. We also have experience in ESRI’s ArcGIS suite of products, including and limited to, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Engine and ArcMap. Our team has over eight years of experience in spatial database systems such as Oracle Spatial. Members of our staff have worked closely with the Oracle Spatial Technology team in Nashua, New Hampshire, to understand and help define the requirements of spatial extensions at the database level. Our experience with Oracle Spatial dates back to its initial release in Oracle 7.3, and consists of certified professionals who are experts in Oracle, Oracle Spatial, Microsoft SQL*Server, Microsoft Access and related database technologies. We are well versed in Oracle’s PL/SQL, Oracle Designer and Oracle Application Server. Our database group handles complex database modeling, design, and development, and data administration tasks. In addition to possessing the skills required for delivering healthy enterprise-wide GIS solutions, we are also focused on the future and in emerging new technologies. We have over six years of experience in designing and developing web-based applications, using the latest internet computing technologies such as ASP, PHP, DHTML, Java Scripts, IIS, Apache, IIS, XML, .NET, Web Services and SOAP. We clearly understand the benefits of thin clients and distributed computing using middle tier applications.
