Geoglobal - Sistemas de Informação Geográfica, Ltd. is a Portuguese GIS company that was founded in September of 1999, with the main goal of fulfilling a potential growth of specific areas in the Portuguese market, trough digital cartography. Our mission is to provide a portfolio of products, and develop high quality solutions, which will respond to our customer's needs, namely regarding decision support. In order to assure high quality products, Geoglobal has invested in the most advanced and innovative technologies, such as Digital Photogrammetry, Stereoscopy, Ortorrectification and GIS. Geoglobal has been constantly collecting digital cartographic information, updating cartography, producing Ortophotomaps, Digital Terrain Models and Digital Buildings Models, Occupation Soil clutters, Collecting cartographic and alphanumeric contents, overlapping cartographic data and alphanumeric data, and at last GIS constitution. Our main customers are Telecommunication operators, City halls, Telecom suppliers, Internet service providers and Public institutions. Geoglobal has been recognised as one of the main solution providers and telecommunication product supplier by several Portuguese operators as well as equipment vendors. Our Mission is the production of High and Low resolution cartography production: Low resolution for nation wide coverage (National road network; National Railroad Network; Soil occupation Clutter; Population distribution; Interception between administrative limits and urban areas; Digital Terrain Models; etc.); and High resolution for urban and industrial areas coverage (2D Cartography; Orthophotomaps; 3D Cartography). Geoglobal offers an extensive cartographic database that covers the entire country, providing the required raw spatial data, which is necessary to assure the right solution to the specific needs of each of our costumers.
