Geomatics Industry Association of Canada

The Geomatics Industry Association of Canada (GIAC) is a national business organization of market leaders in the provision of surveying, mapping, geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing products and services. GIAC conducts promotional, educational and advocacy activities to assist its members to develop new business in Canada and around the world. The Association helps foreign buyers of geomatics technologies and services to source qualified Canadian suppliers, and assists its members to develop strategic alliances with other Canadian and foreign firms. GIAC also facilitates the formation of Canadian consortia, including industry, government and academic sector organizations, to respond to major international project opportunities.
