Geospatial Training and Application Center (GTAC)
Geospatial Training and Application Center (GTAC) provides training and applications for spatial technologies. Founded in 1999, GTAC is located at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) in Huntsville, Alabama, and houses the largest collection of rockets, missiles and space artifacts in the world while providing a hands-on museum.
GTAC is also the home of the U.S. Space Camp Programs. Space Camp the nation's premier science/math/technology educational program, serving school age children from the 4th through the 12th grade includes programs like Parent/Child Space Camp, Space Camp (grades 4-6), Space Academy (grades 6-8), Advanced Space Academy (grades 9-12), Adult Academy, Corporate Academy, Educator Space Academy, Aviation Challenges and special programs for the Visually Impaired and Corporate Sponsored Outreach School Programs.
GTAC is rapidly becoming the national leader in spatial technology for education, training, and applications, and is committed to offering the most recent research and development in spatial technology fields. GTAC also serves to provide a source of energy and talent for collaborations, new ideas, and innovative applications.
