ImageSat International N.V.ImageSat International N.V. is a commercial provider of high-resolution, satellite earth-imagery for a wide-range of applications, including national security, market intelligence, infrastructure planning, land management, natural resource management, environmental monitoring, news media and publishing, and educational purposes. The Company provides worldwide coverage and Internet access to the imagery collected by its Earth Resources Observation Satellite, known as EROS A, which was launched on December 5, 2000. One of the three global service providers in the high-resolution imagery niche, ImageSat is distinguished by its rapid turn-around of customer orders, the diversity of purchase options and very competitive pricing. The Company provides satellite imagery to the commercial market through its web site, www.imagesatintl.com, or directly from its representatives. In addition, ImageSat offers customers exclusive imaging rights to a footprint or specific geographic area, through its Satellite Operating Partner (SOP) Program and its Priority Acquisition Service (PAS) Program. Customers may choose between 1.8 meter standard or sub-meter hypersampled image resolution. EROS A is the first in a constellation of sun-synchronous, polar-orbiting, global satellite imaging systems that ImageSat plans to deploy during this decade. A Netherlands Antilles company, ImageSat maintains its headquarters and image Central Archive System in Limassol, Cyprus and has a global network of ground stations from which to serve the Company’s worldwide customer base. ImageSat’s founding shareholders include: Israeli Aircraft Industries Ltd. (IAI), the prime contractor for EROS satellites; Electro Optics Industries Inc. (El-Op), a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Inc., developers and manufacturers of the camera payload and observation system; and Core Software Technology, a subsidiary of L-3 Communications, operator of the ImageNet imagery archive.
