Overview

In 1995, the Gas Research Institute (GRI) sponsored the Integrated Spatial Analysis Techniques (ISAT) project to design and published a “baseline” GIS data model for the pipeline industry.

PipeView provides powerful graphic and non-graphic tools to maintain location and descriptive attribute information contained in the ISAT database. The core of PipeView is a simple, “pipeliner-intuitive” interface that provides data access and GIS functionality. The database edit function uses an efficient, workflow-based maintenance process to ensure the timeliness and integrity of your GIS data. PipeView offers various levels of user functionality for both large multi-user and single seat implementations.

PipeView is scalable to accommodate any extension of the baseline ISAT database model. Users can add on ISAT-compatible applications such as MAOP calculator, DOT class area analysis, risk / integrity analysis, competitor evaluations, automated alignment sheet generation, one-call screening, etc.
