MJH collaborated with Kiefner & Associates to develop a pipeline risk assessment program that assists pipeline operators in evaluating the current condition of their pipelines and identifying sections of higher risk for the purposes of prioritizing maintenance programs. PipeView Risk™ uses a relative risk ranking model. Analyses are performed by evaluating the physical pipeline attributes (e.g., diameter, grade, wall thickness, etc.) in an algorithm that models the relationship between significant pipeline attributes. PipeView Risk is designed to be GIS compatible by starting with any facility database or an ISAT database—a pipeline industry standard data model.
