Overview
MapQuest Advantage Enterprise v3.0
Advantage Enterprise is a multi-threaded client-server system that enables
developers to integrate maps, driving directions, and other location-based
technology into Web applications and desktop applications. Advantage Enterprise
allows administrators to customize every aspect of the MapQuest server
environment. Customers can customize mapping, driving directions (routing),
searching, and display. Custom icons, map annotations, database-driven
locations, and dynamic map styles can be designed by those implementing
the solution.
MapQuest Advantage API v3.0
Advantage API is a hosted service that enables developers to integrate
maps, driving directions, and other MapQuest location-based technology
into their applications. MapQuest-hosted servers provide MapQuest functionality
to applications on the Internet.
MapQuest hosts the geographic data and the custom location databases.
Utilizing MapQuest’s array of API servers, load balancing, server performance
tuning, memory requirements for large data sets, or geographic data updates
are performed for the user.
MapQuest Advantage™ Application Solution
