TravelGIS Driving Directions Service provides online cross-nation cross-language turn-by-turn driving directions for 26 countries in North America and Europe. It allows users to use street addresses, street intersections, points of interest, ZIP/postal code, place names, Universal Addresses and Natural Area Codes to specify locations. It returns Universal Addresses for both start and end locations if users use others to specify location. Therefore, it can also be used as a Universal Address lookup service. The service provides total driving distance, total driving time, turn-by-turn driving instructions and segment distances together with a large colorful route map that can be continuously panned and zoomed.

Mobile Location Based Services Network (MLBS.NET) is even more powerful. It not only provides location based services to the largest geographic areas, but also supports all wired and wireless devices and eight human languages. MLBS.NET includes driving directions service, map service and location based searches. The driving directions service allows users to use street addresses, street intersections, points of interest, ZIP/postal code, place names, Universal Addresses and Natural Area Codes to specify locations, and returns the Universal Addresses of both start and end locations, total driving distance, total driving time, turn-by-turn driving instructions and segment distances together with a large colorful route map that can be continuously panned and zoomed.

Similar to the directions service, the map service of MLBS.NET also allows users to use the previous methods to specify locations and areas. When a Natural Area Code is used, it requires only 4 or 6 characters but provides both the location and size information that will reduce more than 90% of input keys compared with using a street address plus range or two pairs of longitude/latitude coordinates. The map service provides street level maps of 26 countries and other 50 large cities in the world and general maps of the entire world. The map service also includes the location information (street addresses, landmark names, city/town name, ZIP/postal code, province, country and continent) of the map center.

Similarly, the location based searching service of MLBS.NET allows users to search restaurants, hotels, movie theaters, gas stations, parking places, amusement places, and car rentals in 26 countries based on the areas the users specify using all the previous methods. The returned page will include a street level map to show the locations of all the found items and a list of all the found items with hyperlinks to their corresponding detail description windows. On the detail description window, users will see the name, street address, Universal Address and telephone number of a found item, and a hyperlink for driving directions from the map center to the location of the found item. The telephone number is a hyperlink, clicking on which will automatically dial the number.

NAC Geocoding Service consists of a free geocoding service and a commercial geocoding service for 18 countries. The free geocoding service allows users to input a street address, a street intersection, a point of interest, a ZIP/postal code, a city/town, a province/state, or a country at a time to get their corresponding longitude/latitude coordinates and Universal Address. The commercial geocoding service includes a service for geocoding a list of addresses in a file and a real-time geocoding service. The service for geocoding a file takes a text, Excel, Access or DBF file and returns the same file but with Longitude/Latitude added. It’s a very fast, economic and convenient service.

The real-time geocoding service provides Longitude/Latitude and Universal Address instantly as a request with address or place information is received. It also provides maps and driving directions services in a similar way. The real-time geocoding service is a simple, low cost and powerful geographic information service for all web applications.
