OnPoint Wed-Editor is an OnPoint Extension that enables selected (authorized) users to edit spatial data using a Web Browser. It is built specifically to meet the needs of organizations that want a simple editing tool to make edits to corporate spatial data from anywhere there is access to the internet/intranet. OnPoint Wed-Editor will allow your organization to empower authorized users to perform basic editing of spatial data without the need to learn sophisticated GIS data editing tools. Authorized users may edit Shapefiles, ArcSDE layers or GeoDatabase Feature Classes and assign permissions for editing attributes only or attributes + geometry. Web-Editor also allows multiple users to edit the same dataset at the same time, and provides the opportunity to get the community (public) and contractors/consultants involved in maintaining spatial data.
