Geomatica Image Management System (GIMS)


Overview

The GIMS solution helps users to store and manage image data within an enterprise GIS. GIMS leverages the geospatial handling capabilities of Oracle Spatial, or can be added into any enterprise through an open source database such as PostGRES. Using Oracle 10g and 11g and the new GeoRaster data type, users can now access imagery using SQL in the same fashion as text and vector data.
