3) Data Engineering and Content Management Services

RMSI's strength lies in its capacity to convert large volumes of paper maps and drawings with quick turnaround. RMIS also excels at managing complex conversion projects, which require creation of data from multiple sources of varying scales, vintages and quality.

Data engineering services include conversion, extraction, tagging, online cataloging, forms processing indexing and text formatting.
RMSI also performs CAD data conversion, in which existing engineering drawings are converted into digital vector data format using computer aided drafting (CAD) systems.

4) Modeling And Analytics

RMSI was originally formed as a joint venture with Risk Management Software (RMS), giving it in-depth experience in modeling and analytics for risk management. Examples of modeling and analytic projects:

Integrated system for earthquake loss estimation analysis, used by government agencies for planning earthquake loss mitigation, emergency preparedness, response and recovery
Development and maintenance of an ASP product offering data and analytical tools for structuring and pricing of weather contracts and portfolio management
Development and maintenance support work for an Intranet-based front-office product, used for providing effective underwriting support
