The British Cartographic Society is a UK registered charity. The object of the British Cartographic Society is the promotion of that class of knowledge that distinguishes the Art and Science of Cartography. The British Cartographic Society (BCS), through and on behalf of its membership, exerts an influence on and promotes world Cartography. The Society offers a forum for the exchange of ideas and the sharing of cartographic knowledge.
