using FRIENDS.nextome, users can keep track of their mobile buddies via the cell information provided by the mobile cell operators. Buddies that are being tracked have to approve tracking. MapPoint WebService ist uses to display the location of the buddies on a map, to give adress information and to calcutate reoutes from the user to his buddies. The user can send SMS and emails to his buddies. The application can also be used for parents to keep track of their children. Version 2 will include a kids alerter, that will send an alert to the parents as soon as the kids distance to the parents exeeds a defined distance.
