RapidEye operates its own constellation of 5 satellites, together with the satellite control center, data processing and archiving chain for rapid in-house product generation. This unique system enables global monitoring of the earth's surface with a daily revisit frequency and unrivaled coverage of every point on earth, thus always providing up-to-date imagery.
RapidEye offers off-the-shelf and individually tailored solutions. All products and services will be developed jointly with our customers to assure maximum benefits.The satellite constellation is scheduled to be launched in early 2007 and RapidEye expects to become operational end of 2007.
