Adapting Military Approaches to Geospatial Analysis for Humanitarian Response

Harvard's Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research published a new report titled Sharing Space: Adapting Military
Approaches to Geospatial Analysis for Humanitarian Response and the Documentation of Human Rights Abuses (pdf).

The report argues for using remote sensing techniques developed for the military in humanitarian work. The examples are three: vehicle identification, vegetation analysis, and infrastructure analysis. It's a quick five page read (seven with endnotes).
