Aerial Services, Inc. Suspends R&D on SpatialCloud Service

After noting that the SpatialCloud.com website was no longer available, I contacted parent company Aerial Services, Inc. about the subsidiary's status. I received this official statement:

During the course of the last year, Aerial Services, Inc. (ASI) suspended research & development on subsidiary SpatialCloud's web service offerings and chose to use this intellectual property in-house to provide a broader range of quality service offerings to their clients.  Aerial Services retains the intellectual property, geodata, and software developed in relation to SpatialCloud and continues to utilize it for their aerial acquisition, digital orthos, vector mapping, and terrain & LiDAR solutions.  Further, Aerial Services (& the SpatialCloud team) remains available for consulting on geospatial cloud solutions on a per project basis.  For more information or to contact staff please visit www.AerialServicesInc.com.
If you are not familiar with the vision of SpatialCloud, Here's the launch PR from 2010. I did an interview with the CEO and marketing lead back in April 2010.
