Explorable Inequality

Capital in the 21st Century bases its analysis of wealth inequality on tax data from 29 countries over one hundred years. This data is openly available as The World Top Incomes Database (WTID). To create a sharable, interactive visualization of global inequality, Carnegie Mellon's CREATE Lab is releasing this explorable viewer for WTID. See how the income of the wealthiest classes have evolved, and how much greater wealth the top 1% have compared to the rest of society in each country. The map itself is here.
