“MapInfo’s” High School Opens this Week

Tech Valley High School, an alternative high school will open Thursday, based in temporary quarters at MapInfo HQ. MapInfo donated 20,000 square feet inside its building. Twenty boys and twenty girls from the region will make up the freshmen class in the school with no classrooms and a non-traditional curriculum mixing learning and business ideas. One example of the alternative nature: the foreign language will be Chinese.
