New Open Data Guide from World Bank

The World Bank Group has launched the OpenDRI Field Guide (under CC) as a showcase of successful projects and a practical guide for governments and other organizations to shape their own open data programs. It's a compilation of work done as part of the Open Data for Resilience Initiative (OpenDRI), developed by the World Bank’s Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR). OpenDRI started in 2011 and is now active in 20+ countries. Participants have mapped tens of thousands of buildings and traced urban infrastructure to provide more than 1,000 geospatial datasets to the public. They have also developed complementary apps.
