Named the NSW Globe, the service overlays spatial data derived from government databases on the Google Earth mapping application. It comes in a free, feature limited version, as well as a full commercial variant.
It runs on desktops, mobiles and has data from the state's department of finance including parcels and as well as private companies such as AusImage Product,Austrium Geo-Information Services and AAM Imagery. I find no information on the NSW Globe website about the commerical version. There are also historical images and current data for emergenies like fires and floods. Other states including Victoria (data portal) and Queensland (also built on Googel Earth) alraedy have geodata download and/or visualization offerings.
