The World-Wide Human Geography Data Working Group (WWHGD), a NGA and State Dept initiative, is holding a meeting at the U.S. Geological Survey in Vienna, VA on 1-2 November. Those who can't attend can join a live broadcast via webinar (You must create a log-in to register for either one.)

The Working Group is designed to build voluntary partnerships around human geography data and mapping focused on the general principle of making appropriate information available at the appropriate scales to promote human security.
