Do those who share and/or those who collect consumer location data get a great return on investment? Maybe not: A UK study found only 8% of shoppers want offers on their mobile when in the supermarket. In addition a trend toward "locationless checkin" is growing. Maybe these geographic datapoints won't matter as much we think?
