Diana Sinton, Executive Director of the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science writes:
Much has happened in the field of GIS&T [Geographic Information Science & Technology ] over the last decade, and this has implications for its Body of Knowledge, published by AAG in 2006. As one part of the process to revise the GIS&T BoK, we have posted two surveys to collect input from a broad audience. John Wilson, of Univ of Southern California's Spatial Sciences Institute, is leading this effort on behalf of UCGIS.
We invite you to share your ideas on the relevance and importance of the original BoK topics, and to contribute suggestions for new content to consider. You can read more about this project and the surveys here, http://ucgis.org/project-group/gist-body-knowledge-2015-project.
