2012 Marks the 10th Anniversary of GeoAlberta!
The GeoAlberta Conference is a collaborative effort between four associations: URISA, GITA, GeoEdmonton and the AGG. Each year the location rotates between Edmonton and Calgary, bringing over 450 GIS professionals together under one roof for three days of sharing, learning, networking, and fun! We are proud to host our 10th Anniversary from May 7-9, 2012 at the Coast Conference Centre here in Calgary.
This year’s theme: Ga3 Geospatial – anywhere, anytime for anyone reflects the new world we live in! Location is used everywhere, whether it is on your smart phone, tablet or the internet. Geospatial technologies are embedded in our everyday life and our everyday activities. No longer is Geospatial Information the preserve of highly skilled professionals; instead many people in society use it on a daily basis, sometimes unknowingly.
