A complete GIS digitizer, shapefile editor and GIS viewer for Windows® from the University of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Division of Forestry. Open MrSID®, ECW, BIL, JPG, TIFF, GeoTIFF, BMP and PNG imagery and many common vector formats. Includes Polygon Tools to split, drill and combine shapes; a Node Editor; Traverse Tool (for laying out specific bearings and distances); Snap and Join dBase Table to Shapefile functions. Create thematic maps based on attribute data. Update area and perimeters of objects automatically. Search and select data based on attributes. Convert vector data between lat/lon, UTM and WTM coordinate systems. Print to a specified scale or use a page layout module to design maps with annotations, legends, etc. Available in English, French, German, Slovak and Spanish. Co-authored by Brian Brown and Paul Pingrey.
