The advanced styliser can analyse a table and apply a unique colour/size/style associated with each unique value in a column.
The tool allows you to apply different styles for up to 3 different columns (size, colour, style). So you could, for instance, colour a mineral deposit database (e.g. a bunch of point objects) by commodity, size the point by the size of the deposit, and give it a unique style based on the deposit's genetic classification.
You can then apply that colour lookup to any other table with any of those values.
