Update: Mapinfo2Google.mbx converts MapInfo map objects from one or more visible layers within a Mapinfo map window to a Google Earth KML file. Includes source code. Requires Mapinfo Pro ver 4.1 or later.
Main features currently supported:
· Supports conversion of point, line, polyline, region, rectangle, circle, elipse, arc and text object types.
· Multiple layers in a map can be converted at the same time.
· Only converts objects visible in current map.
· skips records in the table that have no associated map object.
· ensures Message Window is visible
· Number format always uses period for decimals places.
(support countries such as Italy where Microsoft Windows may be set to use comma for decimal places)
· export a layers as points lat the centroid of the object(useful for making text markers for polygons)
